(Pastor Chen)
This morning I was having breakfast at a local McDonald's restaurant. Suddenly I heard very faint and familiar music in the background. As I perked up my ears to listen, it was one of my favorite Hillsong's worship songs. As I hummed along in my head, it nearly brought tears to my eyes. I thought it was very unique that in a secular nation and in a totally unlikely place, a worship song was playing. I then thought about the times past on different occasions and in different restaurants that I heard similar worshipping music gently playing in the air. It almost like the Father is constantly beckoning me to worship and fellowship with Him.
We often hear from the pulpit to seek after God. It almost seems like God is so far away that we have to find Him. On the contrary, the Father's Presence is ever with us and never leaves us. He is longing for our presence. Our time with the Father is very precious to Him. Our very existence and the core of our being is to have an intimate relationship with Him. It is the only thing that truly satisfies the Father.
Jesus tells us in John 4:23, "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him." What a powerful verse of Scripture this is! How would you like for the Almighty God and the God of all creation to seek after you? Worship Him! Before you know it, His sweet Presence will begin to permeate your very being!
