The Laws Of God
July 27,2018

Romans 1:20 tells us that we can see God through His natural creation. From our natural world, we see God's power, beauty and creativity. We also can see the natural laws of God in motion. This natural world is perfectly woven together and upheld by natural laws and principles. Through the understanding of physical laws, man can accurately predict the outcome of an event, build elaborate infrastructures, and even send man to the moon. Through the utilization of natural principles, man can thrive and excel in their pursuit of interests and perform astounding feats. Just as the laws and principles of the natural world are predictable, unchanging, and consistent, so are the spiritual laws and principles in the spiritual world.

The natural world is a reflection of the spiritual world. Hebrew 11:3 tells us that our natural world is made from the invisible world, or the spiritual world. God spoke this world into existence (Genesis Chapter 1, Psalms 33:6,9). As the natural world is governed by natural laws, likewise, the spiritual world is also governed by spiritual laws. Again and again we see Jesus use natural parables to illustrate spiritual truths. Whenever Jesus says "the Kingdom of God is as...", He is using natural illustrations to show us spiritual laws and principles. The Bible is full of descriptions of God's laws and principles. The Word of God is truly the blueprint for our lives, outlining the spiritual laws and principles. When we realize and understand how these laws and principles work, we can successfully navigate our life through the challenges of this world (Joshua 1:8).

To be all that God wants us to be, have all that God wants us to have, and do all that God wants us to do, adherence to sound Biblical teachings is a must. The law of faith and confession, sowing and reaping, giving and receiving, etc., coupled with the principles of love, praise, worship, gratefulness, contentment, diligence, forgiveness, repentance, etc. will either work for us or against us. The closer we align our lives to the Word of God, the more of God's blessings we will experience. It is no wonder why again and again the Scriptures tell us to meditate on the Word of God day and night, bind them around our neck, and write them on the tablet of our heart, because when we do so, success is predictable, unchanging, and consistent.
