From Pastor's Heart :

The Tapestry Of God
November 29,2018

Recently I watched a video on "The Making Of Tapestry." The effort that went into the entire process is absolutely painstaking. From the mapping of a design to the wavering of the final tapestry, the sight is breathtaking to beheld. The designer of the image to be woven has to have tapestry in mind in his design. Each string has to be specially processed and dyed according to a particular specification. The tapestry is then intricately woven by a craftsperson. He knows precisely what string to use; what color of the string to use; and when and where to use it. Everything must be precise and in place for the image to come forth.

After I saw the entire process of tapestry in the making, I thought about the redemption of God. God first has to map out a plan with humanity in mind. Each person in the earth represents a "string." The string has to be specially processed and prepared before it can be used. However, each "string" that He uses has it's own will and makeup. The preparation itself is nothing short of a miracle. Now imagine God weaving His plan through the infinite maze of the human will over a vast span of time. For the perfect image to come forth, it takes both the skills of the Creator and the cooperation of the creation. Each "string" must be precisely woven together at the right place and at the right time to form a perfect image of Jesus. The outcome is an eternal work of Masterpiece! The tapestry has been mapped out before the foundation of the world, and the amazing thing is, we decide whether we will be a part of this eternal tapestry simply by yielding!
